EVENT TECHNOLOGY / EVENT AWARD SYSTEM

The right name on the wall,
the moment they step on stage.

An awards-night stage system that keeps every walk-up in order, every name spelt right, and every screen change in the hands of one operator. No slide decks, no frantic clicking, no “sorry, next slide please”.

01 / THE PROBLEM

Every awards night
has the same backstage.

Awards nights look effortless from the audience. Backstage, they rarely are.

Backstage crew working from a long slide deck and a crossed-out printed name list
  1. 01

The slide deck is the single point of failure.

Hundreds of slides, one per winner, built the week before. One late change and the order is wrong for the rest of the night.

  2. 02

    Someone’s name goes up misspelt.

In front of their family, their boss and five hundred guests. That is the photo they take home.

  3. 03

The wrong person is on the wall.

A winner is in the washroom, the next one walks up, and the screen still shows the person who is not there.

  4. 04

    The emcee is flying blind.

Who is in the line? Who did not turn up? Who holds two awards and needs to walk twice?

  5. 05

    Dead air.

The AV operator waits for a cue, the stage manager waits for the AV operator, the room waits for both.

  6. 06

    Nobody knows who actually came.

The morning after, the organiser still cannot say who collected their award.

02 / THE NIGHT, WITH THE SYSTEM

They walk up.
Their name is on the wall.

What a night looks like with the Event Award System: the operator sends, the wall changes in under a second, the emcee already knows.

The awardee walks up and their name flashes on the screen.
01 / ON THE NIGHT

The awardee walks up and their name flashes on the screen.

In under a second. Full-wall artwork per award tier, names sized for a ten-metre LED wall, laid out so the winners stand exactly where the designer intended.

Your AV team gets a single feed and shows it. The system draws the picture, so there is no deck to advance and no cue to miss.

  • Full-wall artwork for every award tier
  • Names sized for a ten-metre LED wall
  • Winners positioned under their own name
  • One screen output for your AV team
The emcee always knows who is next.
02 / ON THE NIGHT

The emcee always knows who is next.

A private line-up screen shows who is on stage now, who is waiting in order, and who just went. No more leaning over to ask.

The emcee reads the room instead of the run sheet. When someone has not turned up, the screen already shows it, and the next group is ready to go.

  • On stage now, waiting next, just went
  • Private side-stage screen
  • No-shows flagged, not forgotten
  • Two awards, two separate walk-ups
The morning-after report is one click.
03 / ON THE NIGHT

The morning-after report is one click.

Who attended, who collected which award, and when they stepped on stage.

No reconciling the sign-in sheet against the run sheet. The record is made at the stage, as it happens.

  • Who attended on the night
  • Who collected which award
  • Time of each walk-up
  • Export in one click
03 / RUNNING ORDER

Nothing breaks
the order of the night.

Late changes, no-shows and double winners are the normal state of an awards night. The system is built around them, not surprised by them.

  1. 01

Nothing goes up until you send it

Winners line up in order. The operator checks the group is complete and the stage is clear, then sends it. One tap, every time.

  2. 02

No-shows do not break the order

Anyone who misses their category is held for a latecomer round at the end, shown with their own award title.

  3. 03

Multi-award winners walk once per award

Each award has its own moment on the wall, with no duplicate slides to manage and no one wondering whether to walk twice.

04 / BUILT FOR A LIVE VENUE

Ready for the room
as it actually is.

Venue Wi-Fi drops, a category is re-ordered an hour before doors, the client wants to see it on a laptop first. All of that is expected.

Works when the Wi-Fi does not

Everything the night needs is kept safely on the device and catches up the moment the connection returns.

Every automatic step has a manual override

Clear the screen, re-order a category, push a name up by hand. The operator is always in charge.

Phone or laptop at the stage

The operator runs the whole night from a phone or a laptop at the side of the stage. Nothing else to set up.

Rehearse on the real thing

Run the whole show on a laptop a week before, then reset it to zero for the night.

Your artwork, your layout

Backgrounds per award tier, your logo, your typography, previewed exactly as the wall will show it.

05 / WHO IT IS FOR

Any night
where names go on a wall.

From a two-hundred-seat long-service dinner to an industry gala, the stage problem is the same. So is the fix.

  • Awards organisers and associations

Annual recognition nights with hundreds of recipients.

  • Event agencies

Stop rebuilding slide decks for every client.

  • Sales kick-offs and long-service ceremonies

Tiered awards and group walk-ups, in order.

  • AV and production companies

A stage feed you can trust, from one screen output.

06 / QUESTIONS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Planning an awards night? Talk to our team ↗

Do winners need an app? +

No. Nothing to download and nothing to do. Winners walk up when their name is called.

What if a winner arrives late? +

They are shown in a latecomer round at the end, with their own award title, without disturbing the order of the night.

How do we get started? +

Come and talk to us with your date, your venue and your award categories. We will walk you through how the night will run and take it from there.

What does the AV team need? +

One screen output for the wall. The system draws the picture, your AV team shows it.

How many winners can it handle? +

It is designed for nights with several hundred recipients and multiple award tiers, with groups of one, two or four on stage at a time.

Does it work with your registration and check-in? +

Yes. The winner list can come from our pre-event registration and on-site check-in, or from a list you supply. Each works on its own.

NEXT / YOUR OWN AWARDS NIGHT

Give your winners
the moment they earned.

Tell us your date, your venue and your award categories, and we will take it from there.
